authenticity rolex 2005 date just oyster perpetual gold bezel
HI!
I plan to purchase this watch for my husband in time for valentines. Since I am clueless about watches, i need your help. The seller is asking for $4,000 to directly purchase the item. I need to know if it is real since this is basically my whole savings. Thank you so much. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....#ht_500wt_1182 |

Welcome to TRF.
My advice. Save your money. Do not spend your complete savings on a watch. It ain't worth it. You may need the money for more important things. Second, stay away from this one. Beside the fact that the seller has no track record with selling high end watches, this one seems at first glance to be a major fakeroo. So on two counts, do not do it.

Go with a less expensive brand and get a Rolex later. There are many other brands at a good price. Oris, Tutima, Dubaufre, Glycine, Fortis, Omega for starters. Watch out for scammers!

Welcome to TRF Jemma
I agree with the guys on this one, the seller is not showing any proof of authenticity on this listing at all, not even a model number, the box looks genuine as for the watch, pictures are not good enough to tell. I have purchased Rolex's through Langfords in Brisbane a few times now so I can vouch they exist, but I would not be going anywhere near this listing. Remember when buying a high ticket item, buy the seller before buying the watch. there is very little info about the watch IE model number and serial. photos of paperwork even the receipt from Langfords and bad photos, not a great deal of history as a seller.

...there are PLENTY of watches in your...
...price point both HERE on TRF and on eBay from REPUTABLE dealers with established track records.
...do NOT purchase a high end anything from some one with NO HISTORY, as is the case with this seller. ...this way, you will NOT be scammed!! ...additionally, CONTINUE to post your potential purchases HERE in watchout for scrutinization PRIOR to bidding/purchase. |
