Replica's
Hi all,
I've got a question, I want to buy a rolex (real one) but I'm afraid that I will damage It one way or another. So I also want to buy a replica so here is my question. Is a replica rolex legit or illigal? And why? Thanx in advance Greetings Fab |

FYI- The mods will quickly tell you discussing fakes is strictly forbidden. Members will mostly tell you buying a fake is just plain wrong (for so many reasons).

Don't be afraid of damaging your Rolex. They are rugged watches.

To ask a question is sometimes knowing the answer. What do you think yourself? Can you name any counterfeited product that is legal? Many producers, including Rolex, have their trademarks and inventions patented or registered. So any copy bearing the Rolex name, trademarks and registered trait is illegal. Please don't speak of replicas here.

Fake Rolex watches are a tax on the soul.
No need to worry about damaging a SS Rolex watch, they are pretty darned tough. Now put that money potentially wasted on a joke fake towards a lovely genuine Rolex. (BTW - Off to "watchout" for this one.

Use the money you would have spent on a "higher grade fake" to buy insurance on your real watch.

There are some "homage" watch brands like Invicta, Alpha and even some Tag Heuers but they do not lable thmeselves as Rolex like some of those cheap copy watches. Replicas are junk and are made cheap and mass produced... IMHO

Why would you even want to do this? If you do something for work that might damage the rolex, then simply don't wear it during those times but enjoy it all other times. Same goes for any other activity where damaging your watch could be possible. Like others have said, Rolex is a workhorse, so no need to fear.
