Serial Number 101XXXX visable with loop?
Does this mean an AD dumped this watch to make room for new stock? I ass/u/me Rolex will have nothing to do with it.

This is a used watch polished before selling. So nothing new from 1957...
Bye Marko

Well it didn't sell; perhaps it will be relisted at a lower price. So Rolex will work on this watch and will they have parts for a 50 year old watch. If I take it to Rolex USA headquarters in NYC will they give me new papers for it and how much would a cleaning and new papers cost?

I don't think Rolex gives out new Certification papers, all you can get assuming it's an authentic piece are Rolex Service Papers to confirm that it's real. After all RSC will not service a Rolex if it's not a real one. |

This is a used watch without papers.
Rolex will in no case issue new papers if you are not best friend with the CEO. And most probably they will service it, as they still should have parts and the 1803 was the top of the line at this time. But I'm pretty sure it's not from 1957, as the 1803 reference was launched in the 60s! Bye Marko
