Look at the thickness of the bezel, it has the proportions of car tires from the '70's

Besides, a "0" feedback rating should instantly raise a flag.

Terrible junky Fake all the way around. Look at that bezel........it's 1.5 times the appropriate width. How did they ever produce such a wretched fakey? Chris, I thought you woulda been positive on this one for sure but I get being a little gun-shy after making a bad call. Happens to all of us. Keep on diggin up these Junkers and lets keep shuttin em down. Good work.

Out of curiosity, how was everyone able to identify the watch as a fake?

TRF members have considerable experience. A few are watch dealers and have seen hundreds of real and fake Rolexes. Most TRF members own a few (or many) watches and compare the suspect watches with their own.

Also, comparing suspect watches with known good images (such as the watches offered by trusted sellers here on TRF) will usually show obvious differences.

Finally, browsing old posts on the Watchout section will reveal an educational comment here and there.

One of the forum rules is "no discussion of fakes" as an effort to avoid helping or educating the scammers. You will find a brief comment from time to time but not a long discussion or explanation.

Proportions are all way off, one person mentioned the bezel, day of the week font looks wrong, magnifier looks crooked...

You just have to look at a lot of them and details will start jumping out.
