rolex explorer 214270 fake or real?

Hi guys,

First I'm really new to this but I was wondering if you could help me with my purchase. I'd like to guy an explorer from a posting face to face, he sent me some pictures of the watch which I've uploaded but I don't really know anything about authenticating watches. Any help is greatly appreciated.

thank :)

Looks fine from here, including the bracelet. Maybe ask for some pics with the bezel protector removed though (could be hiding scratches, etc.).

Why is there a "N 82" etched on the case above the crown?

Looks authentic to me. The biggest issue with the short hand 214270 was the letter spacing. Green light it

That’s on the Plastic Ring that Protects the Bezel.
