The bezel insert is obviously wrong, it should not stick up above the edge of the bezel

sorry mate ive got the same model, however mine is real with verified documents and proof to back it up and i can say that yours looks nothing like mine as far as fine details go.

I cannot list them on here for obvious reasons but i can say im fairly confident yours is not genuine and if it is its been modified with non-genuine bits(lots of them)

there are alot of differences between yours and mine that stand out even from the photos you have put up
Good luck mate and i hope if and when its proved to be fake you can get your money back and use it towards another one... at least you will be a bit wiser on the next purchase armed with a bit more knowledge
cheers

The watch is real. A real bad fake that just happens to almost weigh as much as a genuine one.

Vulgar language. I reckon he won't be around here very long if he keeps it up.

Did OP respond? Post is gone if he did. If he ends up being a troll...called it!

In a nutshell. He went to AD. They weighed it and it weighs almost same as genuine one. Staff couldn't say it was genuine and couldn't say it wasn't. Master watchmaker on holiday, back next week to do a full inspection for FREE. Think that summarizes the post, minus the crude language.

Even if OP is a phony from coolrep.com or whatever his supposed scenario is quite possible. Hopefully anyone really looking to buy a Yachty can avoid being sold rubbish after seeing this thread.

Either way you gave him good advice and the benefit of the doubt whereas I just laughed at him. Your approach is probably better.

I'd think it fair and conservative if a user like this was banned. Something fishy going on...

User appears to (frantically) solicit help with an obvious "replica". Shortly thereafter, actual help is provided and he/she is logged in/active but neglects to update the emergency thread they started?

Seems to me someone else will be the recipient of said junk watch somewhere.....very shortly.

I get your point. Mods are not automatically going to ban every newbie with a fake who stays within the existing forum rules. In fact, unless someone brings it to their attention it could fly under the radar.

But if you feel strongly, PM a Mod, or report his posts for a review and their decision will be based on TRF’s generally acceptable principles.

I do believe page 2 of the fakers manual states, “After getting hold of your fake Rolex, post it on TRF to see how well it measures up.”

Although, if your excerpt from page 2 is correct..... that should be enough for a mod/admin to have concern.

Dunno, just seems odd to me.
