Think it's possible to still find a NOS 2254.50??

Been lusting after this watch (2254.50) for quite some time. I had the chance to buy a great example that just had come back from Omega with a fresh service a few years ago, full set for just a little over $2k and I knew the owner. Now the prices have gone up quite a bit (as they should) since then however the quality I feel of the pieces is lacking. I don't think I am being too picky but is it even possible that there are some NOS examples out there? I have exhausted the typical locations as to finding this example with not much satisfaction. Maybe the Omega community may have some answers! Thanks

It's possible but extremely unlikely. You'd probably have better odds winning the Powerball.

Maybe, but not likely. Why not find a excellent example and save the NOS premium.

I would get a clean example and send it to Omega for full service and request a new bracelet as they still have some stock left. It will come back looking and feeling brand new and ready to give you 10yrs+ of happy usage.

I have one that's flawless NOS, never worn, full set. I bought two of them brand new in 2008: one to wear, and one to keep as an investment. It's been sitting the safe since I bought it. I can post photos soon.

I have never seen a NOS listed for sale in the past 4-5 years since I became aware of that reference. I had a like new 2255 Israel Olympics version. I sold it in 2021 but should have kept that one.

Cool watch. Love those hands! Wish they were used on newer Omega divers also.

Omega is basically stupid for not re-releasing this 20 years on. The new SMPs are cool (I have the blue one) but it's a bit garish maybe cartoonish compared to these 2054/2254 models.

That would have been a great move. It’s a classic Omega IMO.

Absolutely. I’d be all over one like a bad rash!

Broke out my 2054 today. Got married in this watch a LONG time ago.

Ordered a forstner 1450 milled with stretch links to change it up. The non adjustable non tapered bond bracelet is not for me anymore.

I commonly see very clean examples for sale. I'd likely focus on the advice of find one in the best condition you can afford and go for it. They are easy to service and excellent timekeepers. Not to mention great looking. Let us know how it goes!
