Thanks for passing the info along! DSSD or SD43? I’ve not been able to see an SD43 in a display yet.

I was in the same mall today. I declined to go to that Rolex dealer because I am not really in the market for a Rolex now and I didn’t want to bore my wife.

Well, just called the AD, and the SD is gone. Hopefully some lucky forum member picked it up.

They said that they didn’t have it when I called this morning and just swung by. There is a dssd in the case

Guess they like to lie to any phone call customer, that just leave a bad taste in my mouth already.

I assumed it was the DSSD. Spotted one of those a few months ago.. I’d imagine the SD43 is much harder to come by in the display as it seems more popular than the black DSSD.

the vast majority of these ADs are no better than used car salesmen.

Thanks for the heads up. Anything stainless is hard and as shady as they acted may have had both. I’d rather take a 20 min drive during lunch than miss out. Just wish they could have acknowledged that they had any seadweller when I called at 10am but said they didn’t have anything, yet a dssd in the case at noon.

What is the motivation for an AD to lie about a watch in the display case???? If they don't want to sell over the phone and don't want to ship that is fine but why not just state that instead of lying about things in a showcase.

If someone says they see a sea dweller in the case, assume it’s a Deepsea.
99.9% chance that’s what it is as opposed to sh SD43
