Thinking of getting a 26331ST.OO.1220ST.01
Went to a Boutique over the weekend. They only had one REF. #26331ST.OO.1220ST.01 and it was sold. The owner was due to pick it up any minute. I obviously couldn’t try it on but I LOVED it. So couple questions.
Does it make a decent daily? My day is at my desk but I’ve scratched up my gold sub in the year I’ve had it so I’d assume this will be similar? I’ll probably sell my WG SUB and wear the ROC as my daily using my 44 for nights out, dinners etc. The sales person said she could order me one. I’d probably have it in around one month and need to put down a 25% deposit. This sound right? Anyone have recent experience? If so did you pay msrp? (No discount) I’ve never paid list for anything. Not watches ( several rolexes, several ap ( rg44, plat 44, ceramic 44), not cars. I always say I’m not gonna sell the watch but I always do. Will be worse paying list. Why is the price of ~$24k so close to their other 41s with no Chrono? Not sure I understand the difference between the “jumbo “ and whatever other non Chronos they have (excluding all the 42s) Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide. I’m afraid the bug has bitten me again :) Rob

I like these - a lot - but if I was to get an ROC, I would get the previous version with the solid coloured dial (26320st).

I put down 25% at a Boutique for a Boutique-only model, no discount for a model with a multiple month wait list. |

I have a 26331ST ROC blue dial. I'll try to answer your questions.

That said, the 26331 ROC is my favourite AP and the one that I wear the most often. Quote:

If you are referring to the 15202 Jumbo, the yes, it's definitely reselling at a premium nowadays due to it's scarcity.

This watch and the IP moniker is in play, so think discounts will be hard to come by. Think it is good in a rotation not a daily, and aits certainly a very handsome piece, I'd trade a WG SUB no problemo.

26331ST.OO.1220ST.01 is the Blue dial version and is beautiful.
With the market the way its going for the blue dial 15400, wouldn't be surprised if the demand/price of this one goes up as well. |

Congrats! The ROC Blue is the AP that I wear the most. So versatile.
