Rolex Oyster Speedking Model 6020
Hi guys, I have recently purchased this rolex oyster speedking.
I had a feeling about the case so I tested it and it tested positive for gold content up to 9ct. However the case back is steel, could this just be that someone in the past has changed the back due to damage etc? Or was this a known model with a steel back? Also attached are pictures of the 710 calibre movement, I see the serial numbers of 33894, could this mean that it was when rolex restarted their Serial numbers in the mid 50s? Apologies for the quality of the picture of watch face was only one I had to hand. |

It's interesting that you posted about your 6020 so recently as I came on today looking for info on this model. I received one as a gift probably 14 years ago and, as a kid at the time, didn't think much of it. I've recently dug it out of a drawer and was hoping to get some info. Mine is not gold and the dial shows quite a bit of wear.
