Where to service Vintage Rolex in United States (midwest)

Question for all the purists out there as I have read countless times that it is risky to get a vintage Rolex serviced by Rolex. If you want to keep the originality of your Rolex (dial, bezel, hands, bracelet... all 'critical components') but also service it regularly to keep it healthy (oil, etc.) - where are the best places to send it in the US (Midwest)? Are there established watch services that are very familiar/comply with vintage owner needs or do you need to spend the time locally finding someone that knows and trust that they won't change the watch?

Thanks - Jim

X2. I have had Phillip service several of my vintage watches recently and he is very aware of a watch's originality and period-correctness.

I'd check to see if there are any independents in your area that service vintage Rolex....if not, there is a VERY good and reputable watchmaker here in the Northern Ky./Cincinnati area that takes care of ALL my Rolex...vintage or not...he is a CMW21 watchmaker and of course has a Rolex parts account...his prices are more than reasonable as well...if you'd like additional info please PM me
