5512 for the mattedialdoc!

Hey guys,
I've been on the hunt for a strong 5512 or 5513 and picked this up recently from Michael Morgan. As you recall, I had my choice 5513 stolen last summer while being serviced at an AD. I had been focused on a birth year piece, but finally decided that getting the best example trumped the year.
Here we have a 5.28mill FF 5512. It was sourced from estate of original owner. Sharp case, perfect dial, nice patina .Came on its original 9315 too. Thanks to MM and all my buds that gave it a thumbs up

See link below. It was stolen during a heist at the AD:

Congrats! Glad it worked out in the end, although you're still missing a watch, of course. Still, you now have a beautiful 5512 with a "baby rail" dial!

You don't see many of them with those dials .... except at my house. Mine says hi!

Huge Congrats B
Been a long road to get here. You certainly looked at a lot of watches since the incident. Your patience paid off with a really great example

Thanks, Mark. I appreciate you and others being patient with me..to the point of annoyance at times I'm sure
Funny how, as a surgeon, I have no problem making decisions...but choosing a darn watch makes me crazy!

LOL, never a bother my good friend. That is the beauty of being a WIS. We must grind on these decisions. I have a three watch deal in the works right now...grinding like crazy

So much for the new years resolutions

Very saddened to read your story but very happy for you and your remarkable replacement. Very nice piece indeed.

Amazing how different the 5512 and 1680 look on the wrist. What an amazing pair. Gorgeous.
