Manchester (UK) in the rain

I used to post a lot of wildlife pictures on here but these days I'm broadening my outlook. Two of my favourite mediums are rain and twilight. On Saturday I managed to combine both. These images were taken with a Panasonic Lumix GX7 with a Lumix 25mm f1.7 lens. That's equivalent to a 50mm lens on a full frame camera.

I haven't done any for a while but there should be some in the archives.

As there are several around at the moment, here's one of a waxwing taken a few years ago.

That's a stunning picture Adrian.

Do you have any more? I'm in awe of people who have the skills to capture birds in flight, it's such a skill. You must have a lot of patience.

I'm rather proud of these animal pics but they're a little easier to shoot as the animals were kind enough to stand still !!

Very nice pictures, I need to persuade my wife to go on a safari.

Here are a few terns in flight. These were taken during my time in the Arabian Gulf.

Gull-billed tern

Bridled tern

Little tern

Saunders's little tern

Lesser-crested tern

A couple of near impossible birds to capture in flight, pallid swifts.
