Changed to black painted hands

Thought I'd share. Now I can read the time without my glasses.

Can I ask what it cost you to change out the hands... I would like to change the second hand on my SUB to a red one.

I'm just going to say the cost was reasonable. The original Rolex hands were returned. It was not done by an AD. To me, it is such an improvement in being able to read the time without my reading glasses and to be able to read the time quickly.

Definitely cheaper than changing the dial. If it works for you that's all that counts. Congratulations!!!!

Great idea. I like the look. I have never understood watch design that makes it hard to read at a glance.

Very nice. What good is a watch if you can't easily read it. I talk myself out of buying a lot of watches because of this.

Looks great. Legibility so important. I still wish I could have read the time on the gorgeous Cartier steel & rose gold Ballon Bleu with the chocolate face ... alas ...

Well done! No sense to have a watch you cannot read easily.
