Spoke with my AD last week about it and they advised they are expecting it any day now along with the shipment of the new Cellini line. They usually get their stock towards the end of the month, so it may be there in about a week's time.

Looking forward to seeing this watch at the AD. But I'm going with the BLNR :). |

I know this sounds really negative, and I apologies in advance, but I am really torn. One half of me can't wait to see the BLRO in the flesh, the other half sort of hopes I don't like it!

Don't crucify me but why is it called the BLRO? It's not in the abbreviations thread

BLRO (116719BLRO) is for the colors bleu & rouge (blue and red) after the model # if I'm not mistaken.

I am waiting for a natural lighting shot of one! I hope the blue does not turnout purple.

I saw this piece in the flesh at basel. There is zero purple tone in it. Def a lighting/photo
Issue. The blue is rich and warm to look at in normal light. |

Come on guys, have faith. It's BLRO (BLeu - ROuge) not PORO (POurpre-ROuge). I think Rolex can tell blue from purple.

I love all the different tones of blue in the BLNR, I am really excited to see them in the BLRO!

I don't expect the blue to be identical to the blue in the BLNR since the BLNR is made by starting with an all blue bezel then goes through a process to make the other half black. I don't think you can make red starting with blue and even if you can it would probably be a somewhat different shade. We'll just have to wait and see.
I don't take much stock in the pictures. When the BLNR came out none of the photos showed how subtle the blue actually was. I've a feeling I'm gonna like it. But as it's priced a little above my comfort level I also have a feeling I'm not gonna buy it.
