They feel like completely different watches and I honestly believe they can coexist in the same collection.

One feels like a tool and the other feels like a luxury item, similar to let's say... A range rover defender and a range rover sport. They might be nearly identical under the skin but one clearly looks like a tool while the other was obviously designed to be a looker first, but still extremely capable.

Those pics in post 36 are what makes me want a Submariner. It looks so impeccable. Helps that all the folks here seem genuine and just love a great watch for what it is.
