Looks too much like a Panerai, almost gratuitous in my opinion. And I already have real Panerai watches, so no. But I do like it for some of the same reasons I like Panerai

Same thing happened to me. Loved the blue Pelagos in pictures (still do) but didn't fit me well when I tried it on at the AD. I still feel like just buying it and giving it a chance when I see the great pictures here on TRF. |

They should not have gone with those numerals, looks weird with the snowflake... Now maybe that's just the snowflake though...

I like the idea of the bronze version, the drilled lugs and general look. But the BB is, IMO, big enough at 41mm. Would actually prefer it to get smaller, not bigger. ..
Besides, I am not sure I like the 3-6-9 numbers on the dial. So I guess it's a no go for me. |

this was a mis-step (in my humble opinion) for Tudor which has so many rock stars in it's line-up now
I would have liked to have seen the 41mm BB get a root beer option dial yea, save the rose for the vintage style pieces like BB and Ranger, etc., keep the shield for the new, forward thinking / modern pieces like north flag and pelagos, etc. Or like somebody else said, put the rose on the dial, the shield on the crown... |

I much prefer the Black Bay with the black bezel to the bronze. While I do like the color and the dial of the Black Bay Bronze, 41mm is as large as I dare go with my wimpy wrists. In fact, the Black Bay, black bezel, and on the steel bracelet is a strong contender to be my next purchase.

Just doesn't do it for me I'm afraid. I love the red, black and blue and at 41mm a great size. 43 seems 1mm too big as I have a 42mm and it's perfect. The bronze hmmmmm I think will be out of favour soon tbh. They got it right with the red black and blue models.

Not for me. I've been wanting a Black Bay Black since it was introduced and now have one on hold.

Yes, I have the first one at my AD reserved.
I think that bronze watches are near and already own a couple. From what I have been told the extra couple mm are no big deal to most with average to above average size wrists. This is a 42mm and the size is fine in my opinion. The way they patina is really neat and different with both bronze pieces that I own. Don't hold your breath on a bracelet. Even the case backs on the Tudor and my others are either coated SS or glass. If anything they would have to pvd bronze coat a SS bracelet like the case back. Now the pvd black black bay is just bad in my opinion. I need to educate myself on these coatings because it just seems like it would not age well. Almost wonder if that was Rolex's way of competing with the Bamford pieces and grabbing that market share?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

really like the looks, design is great. But i can't say for sure i'm buying it until i see it in-person and on my wrist. I dont have any 43mm watches to compare it to. Heck, i dont even think I have any watches larger than 42mm.

Who is buying the Tudor Black Bay Bronze (Poll)?
It doesn't seem to wear as big as the numbers say.

I like it after trying it on in Vegas but will still be waiting for the updated BBN over the bronze.

It looks to be a bit big for me, love the design choices, just not the diameter and thickness.

It is quite big. But love the idea that it's bronze.
