Regardless, that's an awesome watch! Enjoy the heck out of it!
Add this to your equation and it's a bigger price difference.
"Approx" 18% off the £9100 if you travel to the U.K. and buy one. (If you find one) this is by way of VAT refund.
USA price will be plus sales tax (unless you manage to get one sent out of state)

And agreed. It's an awesome watch wherever you get one from!!

I shall post a few more pics later today, however, the question of freebees is always high on my priority!

I was getting nothing at all yesterday. OK, a few glasses of bubbly and a beer or two, heck me Bob, I am spending a few shilling! Also I am offered that every time I visit the AD. So I was digging deep to get anything other than a free receipt.

I came out with a carrier bag of empty plastic coffins - to store my watches and a Jewellery ultrasonic bath/cleaner for Mrs. Kevan's jewellery!

I left smiling from ear to ear. Nice people work in The Eldon Square store of Northern Goldsmith, Newcastle, UK.

The guy I deal with said that it is policy to remove them, an obvious attempt to frustrate the flip purchaser. I asked to keep them as they are all part of the foreplay of a new watch.

I have removed some, slowly slowly.... sad or what?

I'll never forget when I first took my 114060 home I was still finding stickers still attached, even days after my AD peeled them off at the store. These watches have stickers in every little spot!

I have had the "old one" for about 18-20 months now.

I shall not be parting with it, after all it is no longer in production and I waited some time to get that. I do like them both, ask me in six months.

I also have a Tudor Blackshield that is almost 3 years old, I bought that at the time as I thought I was never going to get access to a Daytona from the AD, so I have 3 cosmos. All different and with differing histories.

Yet tomorrow morning I shall probably put on my Sub, the good old faithful.
