My first two DJ's I purchased from an AD after that been through many watches all online from various sources some used some new never a bad experience

Depends on the budget and on how old/vintage and or new/modern you want on the model really.
Classic? yesssss the DJ/DD is a great deal both ends.
Sports et al? I'd go vintage with a great condition one owner type of deal, else save up for the modern take on them.

i like money so I always get them used.

Case in point my seadweller.

$4000 and basically a new watch.

Can not for the life of me see why people pay retail, but darn glad someone does
