16753 - replacement hands ?
Hi there,
Recently on a hunt for a GMT 16753 root beer as inspired by Clint Eastwood. Been offered a watch but would like to seek comments from other rolex experts. Done some search that the patina on hands and dial does not match. From the picture shown, do you think it is a replacment hands ? It doesnt glow with strong lights shinning towards it. Thank you very much first ! |

Yes, certainly replacement hands. The hands on these and 16750 models are notorious for having corrosion and being replaced early in their lives. Quite rare to have a watch with matching original dial and hands.
