About old straps
Hello
I want to place my Submariner 116610 a leather strap. This model has 20 mm between lugs. I understand that Rolex manufactured watch models with that strap size in the past. Do you think I can get somewhere a used strap of those measures that will work for my watch? Or at least get an original buckle.Thank you. |

Can't bo too hard... just about every DJ from the 60s/70s/80s/90s used 20mm lugs :) but I'm not quite sure when exactly R stopped offering Oysters without bracelets.
Deployant buckle is nice. Don't know if I'd trust aged leather for longterm wear, perhaps something fresher would be safer. If $$$ not big issue, as AD/RSC if they can quote you a strap & buckle. |
