Amaninspired-as someone with REALLY small wrists-I'm a girl-and someone who really would love the Deepsea to be my next watch, can you explain in a bit more detail about the clasp/bracelet mods you did? I'd love to know...thanks in advance if you can post some more info! Cheers.

Basically, I had the Fliplock extension link removed. The clasp remains the same and the bracelet seems much more like the bracelet from a Submariner and sits more like that on the wrist.

Hope this helps. The watch is brilliant to wear!

I just got one of these... and I'll be honest, my wrist hurts after wearing one. Should I be making an adjustment in terms of links on one side vs the other?

And I thought the second hand dial was red, too. It actually looks really, really cool!

Good question. Have you thought of posting a photo and asking for advice that way? I try to keep the clasp even to the back of my wrist. With the Fliplock extension link in place, that can be difficult on the DSSD. However, if you want it removed, your watch is going to have to have a trip to your local Rolex service centre!

The adjustments should be easy enough, take out as many links as needed and then use the glide clasp. If it still doesn't fit...

The truth of the matter is that no watch model fits all wrist types. For example, as much as I adore the AP Royal Oak Offshore models, they are not very comfortable on my particular wrist, ergo I don't own one anymore. So try the DSSD the best you can, if it doesn't fit comfortably, simply move on.
