Does anybody owns Sub C SS and Bluesy TT at this same time?
Hi ,
I was just wondering if there is anybody who owns these 2 watches and what is your opinion about having 2 subs as a part of collection. I own Sub C and 2 Pams (000, 162) and contemplating adding new watch next year. I was planning to buy DSSD Blue, as my wrist can take it, but recently start thinking about adding Bluesy. I have seen and tried Hulk and Blnr and liked them but somehow they don't ring my bell. Also thought about DJ 41 TT and 36 DD but I was not convinced. I am mentally not ready for fully YG yet therefore thought that TT would be a nice starting point to get used to new colours and bit of gold. Their idea would be to use SS Sub and Pams as more casually watches and have a Bluesy as dress up watch worn with suit or during special occasions. Not sure if that would work hence question. What I would like also to hear is your opinions about idea of owning 2 subs and your experience and thoughts about Bluesy. Thanks in advance. Regards, Will |

Have owned both, and both at the same time. No problem with both at the same time as they can fill different purposes.

I went through exactly the same criteria-the blending in is perfect with the BLUESY for weekends and dining out.The LN fulfilling the daily duties-a combination that will be difficult to better!
You will not regret it. |

I have 3 and love all of them. I also have a 16570 EXPII Polar. I will be adding the BLNR in April 2017.

I am fortunate to own both. These pieces have their own personalities and can comfortably co exist in a collection. My SS sub is a daily beater and my go to watch when I am busy - I like that I can put it on and forget about it. The 2 tone for me is a special watch that I like wearing when I am feeling relaxed and chill. I like how it catches the sun and adds some sparkle to my day.
The few times I actually put on a suit, I tend to wear the SS since it is more discreet (sorry I don't have a dress watch), although again the 2 tone does add some "bling" and I have worn it on certain occasions. Great two watch set up. Love the bluesy and cannot go wrong with the LN Sub. I would probably opt for the no date 114060 though. In the same boat right now. Debating on adding the black dialed Sub 114060 or the GMT 116710LN.

Sounds like the TT may be the best way into gold for you so go for it, you know where it is leading...

HI I am fortunate to own both. They make a great duo, I have rationalized they are two different watches with one being blue, date, and two tone. Both look great in either casual or more formal situations. Both icons of the Rolex line. Go for it!
