Thoughts on this 5513 from 84

Hi RF,

I have an eye out from this Rolex 5513, however im a bit uncertain of the general conditions, since vintage Rolex is really not my strong side. The seller says he cant get better pictures, due to the quality of his mobile phone.

Hope, someone can give me some pointers if its something worth considering?
The asking price is around USD 9000.

Thanks in advance.

Need better, clearer photos, and some showing the full lugs and crown guards.

Asking 9k USD and will not provide decent photos! On this basis alone I smell a rat and would walk away.

Without better photos and more info, you are just looking for a rough transaction. I would walk away!

Judging by the poor pictures, the case looks very "soft".

The dial has been changed. That is a later glossy dial and not from circa 1984.

I don't know so I'm asking......should a 660ft/200m 5513 dial have metal surrounds like that?

Yes it will, but that is a later gloss dial.
