Trip to my AD

I took a trip into town yesterday to see my AD, confirmed that the "waiting time" for a Daytona C is five years... and eighteen months (at least) for a DSSD Deep Blue - so I wandered down Collins Street to their sister shop "Watches of Switzerland" and had a browse ... and came away with this on my wrist... I saw it - and it sang to me, so it was a done deal... first of this brand for me - probably not the last... got great treatment at the dealer - champagne and all...!!!
Here 'tis... PAM 643 Ceramica with the hobnail dial...

Nice. Sorry if you were discouraged by tge waitlist. I am sure you could find a D-blue at list or a touch lower from a very trusted seller bnib if you really want one :).

Tend to agree. I was waitlisted when enquiring about DSSD and BLNR at my AD in Sydney, but as soon as I landed in SF they had them on the shop floor at the AD's here. And definitely, also available BNIB from a gray market dealer.

Either way, congratulations! I tried on a Pam recently, they're terrific.

Seems like Australia isn't really the best place to buy luxury articles such as cars, watches, ... and even video games.

I can feel a trip coming on to get my DSSD Deep Blue...

First hobnail dial I've seen, many congrats

If you're looking for a D-Blue next, avoid Singapore. Only the greys seem to have them and they're way over MSRP. Good luck

Congrats! I tried on the 643 in Vegas last year and was blown away. That hobnail dial with the ceramic case and strap are matches made in heaven.
