There is something about the older clasp that makes the bracelet a little more comfortable to wear. Besides these clasps have performed so well for such a long time. It actually makes a good alternative when rotating with my other watches.

Eventually however I am sure it will recieve the newer clasp, if not next year I imagine fairly soon.

Had a member ask me to post this review again, but I will just bump it instead.

Still as wonderful as the day my beautiful wife purchased it for me!

Wonderful!

I have loved it now going on 10 years. And it never ever gets old.

When you search and dig for the timepiece that fits your dreams, it always pays off.

Don't settle. Wait, be patient, dig, search, travel, and relish the end of the quest when it is on your wrist.

Well worth the time and investment. Even if you have to travel half way around the world. Bucherer in Lucerne, Switzerland was my X on my treasure map. I wish you all well in your hunt.

After almost 10 years it is still keeping COSC time. Never serviced. Better than I could have imagined and I hope to pass it down to my son and his sons.

Sometimes life is so satisfying. Just a watch, but much more.... A life's story.
