Of course it exists.
It appears to me the "experts" and "know-it-alls" - have made their decision.

BTW this quote makes no sense: "Its no loss to me - "You can take a horse to the well but you can not make it drink the water""

We're asking you to show us the "well" so that maybe we can drink the water and see that it exists to learn something of importance and you're getting upset and defensive at our requests and instead just saying don't question you but instead just take your word for it that the "well" exists.

Also just pointing out but in this thread you said that they are "flooding" the market, yet in your post #58 where you quoted yourself and thanking another member for praising you, you said "Is it a "flood"? - no maybe not, but our stores have seen at least 6", it's not a flood by your own admission.... So is it or isn't it which is it?

And not for nothing but 6 watches in a city like NY with millions of people is hardly flooding the market.

Has anyone seen that email, where genuine movements are flooding the NYC market? I'm guessing we are going to be waiting for a long time.

Let it go man. It was an assertion based on a blurb from an organization who is in the business of fear mongering worst case watch stories to promote their authentication service.

I saw a for sale ad fairly recently offering new movements. I think that the seller was from Italy. Might have been on VRF or chrono24.

Having a quick google for ‘watch csa’ it seems their business is making money by authenticating watches for people.

Goes a fair way to explain why they would send out an emergency press release on these hard to authenticate models “flooding the market” I guess. Call me an old sceptic.

I think the flooding bit is somewhat OTT. If they are genuine movements they’re worth a lot of money themselves and it doesn’t make a lot of sense where they would of come from. Maybe stolen watches re-cased I guess.

The thought of a flood of genuine movements coming out the back door at rolex seems ridiculous.

Would love to see some pics of the flood, be pretty interesting.

Seems like the OP got this figured out, but also Finks is a reputable jeweler here and may have been able to give insight to if they sold it- numbers, ect. Not trying to get in the middle of the above, and while I am no expert, I can tell you the Washington DC area has an abundance of fakes that look pretty darn good... and for some reason a great number of explorer 42mm that look close, even when opening up. A brisk loop starts to point out things, but packaged with good paperwork and legit boxes, they could trick someone I bet...

Stay safe and buy smart out there folks!

The CSA email included what serial number; for the movement or the watch ?
Was it a serial number or serial numbers ?
All the good fakes I see out here have running random serials on the rehaut, so I can't understand how the CSA could predict those... If it's from genuine movements, how is that possible to know which ones will be turning up ? You said you had seen 5 so far ?
It sounds like there is one serial number and it being used on all the very high quality copies of the movement.
Don't believe for a second that they're genuine movements.

Hahaha this guy is all over the board with his comments. So he says you can get "real" movements but not real "sapphire LEC's without a parts account".

Adam has been doing this for years. Many times a thread has been started asking if their watch is fake and many times he jumps right in and states there are many things that have him concerned or just blatantly states it's fake. When the OP will ask what looks incorrect, he takes the stance of "we don't discuss fakes on here".Then a true expert will come on and state everything looks correct and he then back tracks. Or my favorite, he will wait until a true expert comes on and comments the watch looks good and then will immediately follow behind the expert and confirm what the expert has said. He takes a defiant tone, at times because he has nothing to back his facts up. The true experts will explain what is wrong, and actually make it a learning moment unless it's totally obvious it is a fake.
Adam, just like you have told people in the past you need to take a step back and tone it down. People don't have the time to just listen to smoke being blown, just like you have stated you don't have the time to report obvious fakes on eBay....
Great post. That dude is a quack for sure, no two ways about it. He just blurts out crap and then runs away.

On a serious note, you are so far off the mark most of the time regarding authenticity it’s a joke.

There are an unbelievable amount threads were you’ve cried fake or doesn’t look right when it’s clear to anyone who knows what they’re looking at that the watch in question is fine.

I’m glad I’m not the only one to notice this.
Though this is off topic, as most of this thread, I have to agree here.

Adam, the issue here really is you're credibility is shot bud, you did that to yourself.

I remember you because you were the guy who said this thinking this was REAL!

Dude post the email or STFU.

Each Rolex movement has a unique serial number, so there would have to be a spreadsheet of serial numbers accompanying this supposed email to account for a “flooding” of the NYC market.

Before you use the word “FACT” again, you should check the definition.

You have been asked to post the EMAIL multiple times and you have not. It is very apparent that you do NOT have the EMAIL that you have spoken about.

The main thing that I have learned from this thread, is not to EVER deal with you.
