Yeah, that’s right, he’s wearing a Sub while dressed in a Heuer/Gulf fire suit.

So the 53rd edition of the movie race lays before you. Motortrend TV has broadcast rights in the USA.

I'll be watching with a keen eye on the Garage 56 entry -- A NASCAR that's been massaged for more HP and less weight driven by former F1 World Champion Jenson Button, former 7 time NASCAR champion in Jimmy Johnson and former LeMans winner Mike Rockenfeller. Not since the Delta Wing project has there been such interest in a non classed entry.

PS: The good 'ol boys from Garage 56 also won the fastest pit stop competition in LeMans using an old fashion hydraulic jack. The Euros were scratching their heads and looking for the closest Harbor Freight to go buy one!

It's their first time at LeMans and they are only .020 off the quickest GTE in practice.

They should slot in between the LMP cars and GTE during the race.

Them NASCAR boys don't race much at night and certainly not in the rain. Jimmy Johnson described his 3 hour stint with those conditions as "Frightening" but he got through it and so did the car. G56 now up to 27th.

There's been so many cautions that the safety car had to change tires!

(Friendly humor Paul) Amazing that after 24 Hours it is closer than many F1 races. Maybe a Six Hour F1 race is in the future? One driver change is mandatory, so their development guys get time too.

Someone came back, with a plausible reason why Geneva wouldn't do it.
