Interesting to see the Daytona has an actual movement and not a dummy like the other tone where hands are at 10:10:31

There is one set of 20 watches that Rolex are circulating for these AD events in the Uk at the moment.

A lot of people in my view will not like the feel. I am open minded to it, but for sure for some people it will be a hard no on the first time they pick it up.
The bezel was almost silent, very muted click. I had to check that’s was normal and not due to it being a “roadshow” piece.
Can’t decide if I was shocked in a good or bad way.

From someone who wears full PM 90% of the time the YM is still one I can’t wait to see. And I hope a bunch of people do hate it. Increases my odds with my A D Actually just reminded her again today. That and a few others. I’m not holding my breath though

Thanks for the pics. Btw how did the YM “look” next to the usual Rolex SS? Big difference?

Big difference. You have SS polished and satin finished, then you have Titanium.
It’s much darker/grey. Was 100% brushed no areas of polish.

Looked classy though.
Thanks - good to know & this perhaps confirms they are just less popular - by which I mean people are trying them on less/ posting fewer photos.

Interesting feedback on the heft compared to your Pelagos.

The YM bezel action has always been noticeably smoother that the Sub's. It's meant to be easy and quick to turn (to "track time between buoys") as opposed to more notchy in a diver (for safety reasons).

The bracelet on the YMTi seemed thinner, not width wise but depth vs the Pelagos, maybe this is adding to the “lightness”. But that said the head/case is much larger…
Was just very “different”. I can see some lovers and some haters.

Surprising indeed considering the difference in size. I wonder how much this YM weighs.

Yep. I am not a yellow gold fan but this turned my head. The jubilee is great as it’s breaks up that bracelet a little vs the oyster.

Hmm. Darker? Now I think I may like it even more.

I Wanna see that and the Blue/Green RG SkyD. Did you get a chance to see that one as well

Thanks again for the info and pics

I didn’t try and SkyD, too big for me.
But I saw in the case both. Blue on Rose was stunning.

I never thought I’d find a RG SkyD that would make me wanna “possibly” move on from my favorite but this one might do it.

I asked both of my A D’s had they seen any of the new releases and was told no.

That’s because it has a see through caseback and thus would not be greatly representative of anything if it didn’t have a movement to look at
