Cool looking set of wheels Steve. Would definitely suck to have someone rip it off in broad day light. I surprised they don't have a lock on the front stock so the front wheel won't straighten out. Would stop this kind of theft from happening. Hope you get it back.

Thanks guys...
I'm riding the bicycle (electrically assisted) around and to work now. Maybe a bit of exercise will do me good.

Don't forget your padlock and chain, when you plan a trip to MacD's.

Self insurance is not complacent. It’s a choice that makes sense in lots of situations (small motor ownership is a great example).

Glad you're on wheels again. Sorry about the V-Ride. At least you were not on or near it when the actor decided to possess your property.

Vespa Convention

We have a cottage up in Lake Geneva WI. A few years ago we came up for a few days to visit relatives. There was a Vespa Convention that weekend. Literally hundreds of the scooters were all over the city that weekend. It was really neat to see them, especially the vintage ones. Lot's of Cushman's around too. Looked like a fun group of enthusiasts.

Agree. The current environment is intentionally created.

Theft infuriates me, such a cowardly act.

Sucks. Sorry to read this. I used to worry about my 883 and how just a couple big strong guys could put it in the bed of a P/U truck quite easily. Sad that this type of crime happens around the world on probably an hourly occurrence.

Still no news.....
I have resigned myself to riding a bicycle for the rest of my life.
I'm never going to buy a scooter again.
It was such a cool scooter, I've looked but nothing looks as good and I need the exercise...

Don’t say that. If you enjoyed it get another one. Stick a bunch of Apple AirTags on it and use it for short trips. If it can carry 350lbs I might get one.

Icon8 Just disgusting...

So Sorry to hear that, and curious how he was able to ride off...

What the heck is happening these days when you can't leave your scooter alone for a few minutes??
