My Pepsi with Jubilee is a bit of a safe queen as it is the newest watch I have and is still pristine.
I mostly wear an older Daytona which often gets strangers comments at random times.

I own a Pepsi and I wear it a lot. I have only seen 1 in the wild and it was when my wife was wearing my Pepsi and the other couple was in shock when we commented on his Pepsi and then my wife smiled and showed off her/mine, chuckled but I think the wind came out of his sails.

I can't get mine off, nothing else gets any wrist time whatsoever. It's been that way for 2yrs since I got it. I should really sell the other watches in the box.

I’ve seen the following (of particular note) in the wild:
Panda
OF YM YG and WG
Black dial SkyD
Patek 5712 (this one is still the nicest watch I’ve seen in person and was totally unexpected to see but not surprising when I noticed who it was)
Patek 5164a
AP 15400OR.OO.1220OR.03 (at first glance from a distance I thought this was an Invicta or something)

…but I have never seen a BLRO in the wild.

Lots of Subs and Explorers around me.

Love to know why.

Is it because it attracts too much attention (it’s quite shiny), or are you trying to avoid wear’n’tear?

I suspect there’s a LOT of BLROs that have been produced and not worn that are circulating in the secondary market.

Only seen a blue dial white gold BLRO in the wild. Suspect most don't daily BLROs, but keep them as an "investment" and flip.

Plenty of black Sub Dates and one YM2 which was impossible not to see. I sat next to someone on a flight who was wearing a fake Pepsi, I don't think I've ever seen a real one but have probably been close to a few.

I’ve only seen the ceramic Pepsi twice and both the owners were friends of mine. No sightings in the wild unfortunately.

A chap (whom I assume is the manager) of a local optician shop wears a fake Pepsi. When I see that sort of thing, I make sure mine is not visible. I don't want that conversation.

I feel like this thread is more an indicator of the fact that the majority of people don’t spend thousands of dollars on watches than anything else…

As a commercial airline pilot while bidding adieu to passengers departing the aircraft I am wearing either my BLNR or BLRO. Gets lots of wrist looks especially when wearing the BLRO. I have never seen another modern BLRO adorning anyone's wrist. A few of my first officers sport 16710s normally handed down to them by their airline relatives.
Yes I wear my GMTs proudly when I fly. Just be smart about wearing in public when out for dinner. When I fly to Mexico City on Wednesday I feel as safe wearing my BLNR as I would in any big city in the US.

I’ve seen one Pepsi 16710, on the wrist of a doctor I met when I had an injury. He got it when he graduated from med school in the late 80s.

Never seen another one.

90% of all Rolex watches I’ve seen have been black sub dates on airplanes. Second to that are TT DateJust’s on jubilees.

Recently vacationed in Dubai, stayed at a nice, upscale resort. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was wearing Rolex. Here were the highlights:

-Too many Submariners to count. Felt like every 30-something up to 70-something had one. All available iterations except for the LB. LN was most common, followed by LV.

-Many, many Daytonas. Mostly non-contemporary, but saw plenty contemporary too. Saw more oysterflex versions than stainless steel

-DJs aplenty, but mostly on women

-Handful of GMT’s, equally divided between the LN and BLNR. Only one BLRO over the span of 10 days

-One other Explorer, aside from mine

-Tons of Patek. Mainly Nautilus’

-2 RM’s

They are all on C24 and at the gray market where the prices can be manipulated and traded among them. The others are in safes, as you don't think folks will actually venture a smudge on them do you?

I’ve seen way more 5 digit gmts but saw 2-3 ceramics now.
Seeing ceramic subs everywhere these days though. Also saw my first 41mm Starbucks in the wild last weekend.

Come to think of it… I don’t think I’ve ever seen the BLRO out either…

I work in midtown Manhattan and see countless Rolex everyday. I can only recall one BLRO (in an airport).

But I see mine every time I wear it!

I assume some of this has to do with your surroundings, but agree I see Subs more than anything. Living in Florida I feel like I see a fair number of Yacht-Masters, too.

Plenty of DJs around the office, but the only person I've ever seen wearing a BLRO is my SA.

Have seen plenty of Pepsis out and about. Usually looks too big for the guy wearing it.

Let’s make some assumptions…

1m Rolexes made a year. 20% of these are sports model. Maybe 20% of those are Pepsi. 15% going to the US. So 6000 Pepsi a year to the US. Let’s say 10 years worth of Pepsis out there (though not ceramic as hasn’t been that long). Population of 180 million adults, half men. So 60000/ 90m. Less than 0.1% of people will have one.
20% of sport model Pepsi? No way! Maybe more 2% likely but we don’t even know if it’s that much
