Daytona especially. To many, it's nothing more than status now. Interesting watch, yet I have no interest in it given what it represents today.
Is there a report of article which outlines this? I get the sense they are more focused on hype and exclusivity whereas in the past they were more accessible but expensive still

I would figure less people are trying to save for them as a reward or commemorative piece these days

You should give it a chance, you might be surprised. It’s a fantastic case, extremely nice to wear. The dial is a matter of taste of course, but it has a lot going for it.

As for the original question, neither of them. They are all great watches. Sone are less to my taste than others, but I‘d wear even a Yachtmaster II. Would not spend my money for one, but if I got to wear it anyway, why not?

I don't think God would honor your request. Why remove such a classy watch?

I am one of the dull ones, unless I am wearing my Hulk or Timex black/green the day I die, haha

I don't care for any of the Sea-dwellers. They are just too damn big, particularly the DS Challenge. It's like wearing a wall clock on your wrist....

You should’ve said a stainless Sub with blue bezel per your thread on it a few weeks back.

YM2 like most of the group here. Unpopular take is Daytona – I wanted one for a looong time, was finally able to get one, and then realized that while I still think the dimensions/look are fabulous as a timepiece it’s terrible. Busy dial makes it hard to tell the time, screw-down pushers make it basically worthless as a chrono. Sold it and have never looked back.

There are far more watches in the Rolex catalog that I wouldn't wear, than I would.
