In the modern ceramic era I think there’s an argument to be made that the SD4k is the best tool watch/diver they’ve made.

Welcome to the forum! There's nothing cooler than a 6262 PN Daytona for me.

My grail watch, the 16710 BLRO.

Lately I've had a hankering for a classic Submariner (with date) or an SD4K. And the new Air King is speaking to me, although it does not have the date window I prefer.

I might be the only one to ever say this in this thread but my favorite Rolex model currently is a two tone Datejust with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. My favorite dial colors are champagne and ivory/cream.

When I first got into watches about 20 years ago, I was all about the sports models like the Subs and GMTs. But now with all the hype they get, I've been really turned off by them. I also got tired of wearing mainly black dials over the years and most of these models are in black dials. Give me a white mother of pearl, salmon, or ivory pyramid dial any day over this sea of black dials Rolex makes.

I would have to agree. This is just the ultimate party. I don’t need the diamonds on the case though.

36mm Explorer as something reachable.
COMEX 16600 as something entirely out of reach.

I'm thinking more and more about the 36mm Explorer as a simple / usable / low profile watch. I may be getting one some day !

Currently this one is my favorite!
