Reporting back after seeing new Rolex models with pics

So last week, went to my AD to see the new pieces.

1) I liked the new Panda, but severely underwhelmed by the new black dial. I even wore my Black 116500LN & compared it to the new one in the pic.

2) Did not like the new green colour sky-dweller whatsoever. Looks insipid, almost washed out. Blue is definitely still King

Will try to post the pics

Where you able to see the new RG SkyD with Blue Green dial?

Just wondering on your thoughts of the dial in person?

Thanks for sharing Jonathan. I'm liking the new Panda Daytona. That green SkyD is not the best I've seen. I'm really drawm to the mint DJ from last year though.

Yes, agree. The initial pictures of the new Panda did nothing for me, but in the flesh it's lovely & has a realy vintage look to it.

Did you notice the size difference between the old and new Daytona?

The new Daytona compared to your old one. Is that an optical illusion or is the new one that much larger?

It's got to be. It looks like the difference between a 39 and a 42 in that photo.

I agree, I have a 116500 and a 126610. The lugs and casebook are considerably larger. This looks very similar.

No haha. The bracelet on the left one is has a bunch of fingerprints and the one on the right looks pristine, so naturally assumed the one on the right is the newer one. I think it just to show that the changes are kinda minor and we can't really tell.

Definitely agree on the Daytona…maybe these pics just don’t do it just if but think I prefer the 116500

I’ll be the minority….I love that green SkyD…

The new Darth Vader (black dial Daytona) does nothing for me. But the white dial does have a more vintage, Paul Newman Daytona look. That being said, I think I like the older model better.

I don't mind the mint green Sky Dweller, and if there is a chance that it's not a good seller vs the blue, maybe they may be more available (wishful thinking, I know).

I wonder if it would have looked better with a non-sunburst pattern and in high gloss, perhaps a slightly darker shade.
