MING 27.01 Arrived

In mid December I received this Ming watch. Ordered in May so about 7 months in pre-order.
I also ordered a universal bracelet which is titanium while the watch is stainless steel. The bracelet fit is great with quick release and it uses screws. It’s not possible to distinguish what’s titanium and what’s stainless. So well thought out.

The watch is 38x6.9.

Being thin, I thought it might be fragile and worried about it but it is not at all and that’s reassuring.
The movement is ETA 7001 with only the gear train and escapement retained. The movement is reworked by Schwarz Etienne.

It came on a Jean Rousseau strap with the buckle having the same cut out as the scalloped out lugs on the case.
I also enjoy the sandwich sector dial and minimal branding.

The watch has no lume so it’s not a sport watch, especially with 50 meters of wr, and it’s not quite dress, but to me it’s versatile enough.

The dial is black in the center with a dark gray moving outboard. The press shots and my own do not bring out the deep color of the dial.

This is also my first watch with skeleton hands and it is entertaining to see the hour and minutes hand cross over the other.

Thanks

Congratulations! The watch also looks good on a variety of the Jean Rousseau straps Ming makes available.

Ming says they randomize their serial numbers. That appears true here; I got my 27.01 in September and it has a higher serial number than yours.
