If you are smaller-waisted, check out the new Patek 7234g. I just picked one up and it’s really perfect.

For the GS owners - apart from the quartz, on paper the other models seem quite thick on paper at 14.4-14.7mm. I have a BB GMT which is listed at 14.6mm and that feels chunky to me.

Do the GS GMTs feel similarly thick? Or that is just something in the way they take the measurements?

On the Tudor it feels fine (I moved to a leather strap as the bracelet feels a bit underwhelming after being spoilt by Rolex oyster), but in my head a GS should have a similar refined wrist presence to a Rolex, so I was surprised by those stats and interested to hear how owners feel they wear.

If you could find in price range then for me the VC dual time is hard to beat.

If you're looking for a true tool watch and nothing more I think the GW is an excellent choice, provided you find it at a reasonable price. Otherwise, spend the money and go for the PO GMT ... or the Tudor BB GMT.

Wears extremely comfortably- is it slim ? nope, nor is it small, but it does wear very comfortably indeed. Mines now on a Nato, but that's not a commentary on the bracelet, I just like Natos....

my wrist is 7 1/2 " give or take and I lean towards larger watches- this pic gives a better idea of true size than the closeup wide angle shots....

They do look good - thanks for the shots.

I think I just need to try one on at a dealer next opportunity I get.

Based on everything I read about the quality I would be shocked if the bracelet wasn’t top notch.

I have a couple of GS and the bracelets are nice and comfortable, but not as robust as a Rolex SS bracelet. Just want to set expectations since you'll notice the weight difference right away.

Not as robust is an odd qualifier - there’s nothing about my bracelet that suggests it’ll fall apart, nor that the clasp will unexpectedly hurl itself open
Unless you’re sticking your wrist in a wood chipper or trying to suspend your body weight by the band, you’d be hard pressed to break it any more easily than an Oyster

I never insinuated that the GS bracelet would fall apart or come undone on its own. My comment was purely an observation when compared to a Rolex SS bracelet.

The GS bracelets I have are fine, but they weigh less and there is considerably more play in the links than any Oyster or Jubilee bracelet I have.

Omega would be my choice. I would add Tudor but they still haven't fixed the date issue.

That is very nice, and I thought, "hey, I could rock that!" until I saw the MSRP.

BTW, proofreading is our friend. Autocorrect can bite hard.
