Thank you sir, will definitely have to take it diving. Been living vicariously through your collection for some time now and love your RG 44 and the gold sub.

Thought about the ceramic 44 but felt the diver was more special and unique.

Although they’ve gone up, I still think the quality is worth the price compared to paying a Rolex premium for example.

Cheers.

Such an awesome reference. CE and FC divers are among my favorite watches of all time. Perfect everyday luxury sport watch.

Didn’t realize these things shot up so much. It is by far my favorite AP and I was lucky to secure it last year while in HK.

Rumor has it there are less than 500 pieces out there, but I don’t think that’s been verified.

I wouldn’t bring it diving. If you whack your wrist against a tank it can shatter the bezel.

linking here to an article published today about AP's history / usage of black ceramic

https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/au...l-oak-in-depth

this should just add to the mystique and allure of the 15707.ce!

Incoming - AP Ceramic Diver 15707CE

Great piece. I was fortunate to have picked one up new from a boutique when they were first released. Do you find the strap us overly stiff? It’s my only gripe about this reference and would love to swap it out for one that is more supple (such as the rubber used on the 44mm offshore models).

It is stiffer but the quality is so excellent. The straps on the new ceramic bezel 42 chronos like the grey ghost are super soft and supple. They may fit as it’s the same case size. I think I will try the grey one and then get the orange also.

That’s an incredible article and so cool to see the ceramic diver featured!
