New Auction site “watchcollecting.com”

I read about this site (coming soon) in the New York Times yesterday. I am not gifted enough to add the link, but the article title is:

“A Watch Auction Site Designed to Trim the Overhead”

It appears to cater to watches that are beyond my reach, but I thought the heavy hitters within this Forum may find it interesting.

I did not see any prior Post or Thread on this. If there are, well i hope I did not hurt your feelings!

A great weekend to all!

Huh. Interesting. Find the article here. For you TL;DR folks, it's based in the UK, minimum listing cost of 500 pounds, 5% buyer's premium.

It's good that they show the sold prices once sold. They also have a car website that is gathering followers

A year and a half later, can we trust WatchCollecting.com? Was thinking of using it.

I bid on something from here - didn't buy it in thee end but was impressed with the comms from the folks at WC... also final prices seem to bee reasonable rather than C24-inflated.
