I am using the original strap.
The only issues I have with the original strap is the tip of the strap that goes through the double loops sticks out and away from the part of the strap that hugs your wrist. I wish the strap tip came curved so it would follow the contour of the strap. |

Any suggestions on how to get the original strap to curve inwards near the tip of the strap?
You can clearly see what I'm trying to fix in Fat_ninja's picture (9yr old wearing P01). |

Can you get one of those tiny black elastic hair bands (basically a very small thin black elastic band) and use it as a third keeper at the tip?

The 20mm rivet strap is from Watchgecko here, they do non rivet as well but this was on sale and I thought the vintage look would be in keeping.
https://www.watchgecko.com/vintage-r...el-watch-strap I had to file the bracelet end links down very slightly so the bracelet could be wiggled in to position like when you mount a strap. it would not slide in with the pliers as the stock springbars are a tiny bit long for this metal bracelet. I did order some alternative spring bars but in the end with the filing down I managed to keep the oem ones which was my preference as I know they are a perfect fit in the holes. Feels great on the bracelet, massive wrist presence. I may now order a really top bracelet from Strapcode or try and adapt a BB58 one to flat end pieces. Can't stop tinkering with this piece!! |

Wow. In my opinion the metal bracelet totally changes the look of the watch. Outstanding.

Bought one
I always like unusual design, so immediately liked it and almost immediately bought one.
Doesn't feel as good on the wrist as the perfectly proportioned Black Bay 58 (it's a heavy watch, but the feeling of quality is definitely there) but it clearly has something impressive. So much so that I really love it. Another thing : its accuracy is absolutely amazing. I don't wear it very often so it remains in a watch winder. The last time I have made the setup was two months and a half ago. I checked it just today : a whopping -8 sec. After 150 days. We are in quartz precision territory with a mechanical watch. |
