What Patek are you buying for $60,000

Have sold (4) rolex's in the past month since buying a Patek. Patek really seems to change my ideology on what I need in a collection. if you had $60,000 to spend on another Patek or even a precious metal Rolex, what would you go for?

5320G (cream dial). Or pony up a little more for a salmon dial (either 5320G or 5172G).

Probably a chronograph...pre-owned 5170, or, for a bit more than 60K, a pre-owned 5172.

I was gonna say, "Annual calendar" but i think this is even better. Stainless steel, green dial, annual calendar chrono sports watch.

I’m hoping to pick up my first Patek in a few weeks. I went for a 5205G. Ticks a lot of boxes for me. 5172 also in the running. But I have a Daytona, so chronograph covered. And the AC is a complication made by Patek. Amazing dial, lugs. Just so much to like about the 5205 on paper. Looking forward to having it on my wrist.

5935A. You tick two important Patek complication boxes (Worldtime and chronograph) while the watch is highly suitable for everyday use with its steel case. And to top it off, it is a strap monster.

Oh, how I wish a full set 3940G could still be had for less than 60K… Sigh.

Too many come to mind...

3940, 5110P/5230P, NOS 5522A, 5170G or 5975 with the G likely beyond budget.

Personally, all of these answers solidified my idea to stick with a Day Date

5320g or 5172g for me. DD are fun but a dime a dozen and much more attention grabbing. Different watches entirely. I do love a good DD as well.

5320G cream dial hands down, I bought it recently too because it was such great bang per buck (alongside I love the story of its connection to the 1591).

If you can get a 5170 for that price that’s a nice watch to have.

You might just get a 5711R or J for that.
