That's a thought, QC. Not a very satisfying one, but it is a thought.

Care to explain this, "talktoomuch?"

Many people use a software to block their IP address, that really not uncommon.

Here you go, mystery solved.

I don't see the point in making a post that is supposed to irritate people and when it does.. blaming them for it.
If you want to post pics.. go ahead. If you don't.. you don't. Just opening a thread with one line that says your collection is complete doesn't do much on a forum. It is no facebook you know..

Oh, of COURSE...a picture of a reflection of a person wearing their watch on the opposite arm I should have known, especially since he was wearing the other watch on the left arm in the other pic he posted Guys been collecting for 27 years...of course that's the only pic he'd have.

I think I knew who that HAIRY hand is! Let me scan 1000 pages of watch-hand pics here and look for that hairy hand with a prominent vein. I am doing my own forensic investigation.

Love how the Exp II shot shows 9:30pm and it's still daylight. Perfect tool for the job.

The explorer 2 is probably the best 'tool' watch Rolex make. The older version is better than the updated one. The case is not as big; so it's not bashed and banged about as much. They also don't seem to be as 'blingy' for want of a better word.

And if you're at or near one of the poles, it's exactly the watch you need.

I look forward to more pics, although at this rate it'll take us six years to see the entire collection.

I haven't checked in on this thread since it was one page. Made for a nice read while drinking my coffee this morning. Strange thread, but coming along nicely.

OP, more watch pictures and Antarctica stories.

What are you using for a camera in the cold environment? Seems like most digitals aren't rated at that low temperature. Film processes would slow as well but still work. It must be approaching winter there now.
