Abbotoni dials
Hi all
has anyone have pictures of an Abbotoni dial? beautiful one here on hodinkee video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYZCdc9K4UA Just wanted to know a bit about the history, which models will have, which model is featured in that hodinkee video, etc. if you have one, post a pic! thanks guys! |

I believe he is speaking of the case and it is Ovetone. Pronounced O va toni. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

"Ovetto" in Italian means "little egg" and by extension "Ovettone" means "big little egg". Kind of a joke, actually.
