No we don't use wanker its British slang. Most americans would have no idea what you were talking about if you called them a wanker or a tosser.

The son - as my collecting and passion for these watches came from my father.

My father is the one who got me to enjoy PP and now we both have. His collection has more PP in it than me though! I am at 2 and he is at 5 😁

Neither, their ads don't reflect my lifestyle. Patek needs some gangsta ads with 2Chainz and Jay-Z... n' guns and fat stacks.

Ya never really own a Patek ni...

...cuz eventually an OG will cap you for it.

DMX won't do it, yet maybe The Game would ???

"Who you really think give a ... how much your watch cost?
How much your watch cost? You 'bout to get your watch lost (aight)
If you flashin' it, you must not want it" -- DMX

that looks like 3 generations of Hodinkee staff. beards, sweaters, and dressy watches... even grandpa looks like a hipster.

In that case the ad should be mother or daughter. I doubt too many woman are wearing men's Patek watches although there clearly are some. It is perfectly acceptable to advertise men's watches as heirlooms without being sexist. The same goes for woman's watches. The offerings for women in the Patek lineup tend be smaller, have much more color and adornment on the dials and have more precious gems. None of this is sexist.

I would say father. Passing just 1 on to my next generation. For the rest of the collection they must work for it. Buy it off me dependent on the market price at that time
