Seadweller 16660 - what metal
Hello,
A very well respected dealer is selling a 1985 Seadweller 16660 9.1XX Million Serial Number I have a sensitivity to 904L so I need the older 304L case and bracelet. What metal would this be and how do I tell without asking you experts with every watch I see. Thanks in advance. Joe |

Between 85-87 on the cases and much later for the bracelets. I'd say you are safe. Allergic to the Nickel?

This makes sense. Even if the 904L has a higher Nickel content it actually sheds less nickel than 316L in a sweaty environment. I asked a researcher specializing in stainless steel interacting with body fluids and other corrosive environments.

I think tudor sub cases use the 316. Ever own one? I like them
More than my rolex models. |
