Meh. YG is a good second step.

Go for platinum.

I'd go for the Bluesy, OP. It's obviously not as understated but still not as all out "blingy" as a solid YG piece IMO, and I think of this type of thing frequently.

Why don't you wear the Bluesy at work? =P

Do it my friend! The sparkles you get from the edges of the gold bezel gives you that little extra satisfaction when you look at it.

Obviously go where your heart is. But if you can swing it they look great in the collection together.

Professorfingers, you are never too senior in years to enjoy the Ceramic Bluesy!I had it's predecessor and foolishly flipped it-however the opportunity arose to make amends and without any hesitation bought the present model with the sunburst dial-keeping my 116610ln (with date)
My advice would be funds permitting buy it outright-you can then wear it evenings out and special occasions-and enjoying the Ceramic s/s Sub for daily use.I have and am so glad to have the best of both worlds! They are both handsome watches and in particular the Bluesy is STUNNING.

I did chuckle at your comment (61 and can make up my own mind... LOL) and I love my TT. Now, would I trade my Sub for it? Probably not - I like some variety. But others may find having that much money tied up in watches is a bit much.

I will say though that I've gotten more compliments on my TT than on any other watch that I've owned, and I've had quite a few nice watches, including at least one TT Breitlings (and others, stainless).

Absolutely. Owning both at one point, I did end up selling my SS because it does get a bit boring. TT Blue never gets boring and there is always a spark with gold and steel combo with sunburst blue dial. Go for it.

If I were considering only one watch between the SS sub and the TT, it would have to be SS. While I love the look of the TT with either black or blue dial, I personally don't want to wear yellow gold each and every day. Just my own personal taste, based on my lifestyle and the activities and line of work I am in.

I have a TT DJ which I love, but if I had no other Rolex aside from that, I would still not wear it daily.

Thanks for all of the replies. I really want a TT black dial Sub. But, all things considered, I really, really like my SS Sub. I love it every time I look at it. I love the bracelet. I really don't miss the YG accents of my Seamaster.

I think I'll just keep it!!

Thanks again,

TW
