Misguided Rolex Snobs
Hi, Just have to share this relative to what non-Rolex owners may think of us...
In the recent issue of "Guns & Ammo" magazine, in the "Letters" part of the issue, a writer is complaining about the "High End" items they are writing about that are beyond the reach of many of the readers, he also offers the analogy , "Would you buy a Rolex and go hunting in the woods with it ?" Hell Yes, thats the main reason I own a Rolex, wore it through the Vietnam War, and everyday since.......Sorry, Rolex means Quality, not "Showpiece", What say you????? |

Wow I am a gun collector as well as a watch lover. In fact I moved several guns in order to buy my first Tudor. Please PM me the issue so I can buy one. When I was in the army not to long ago I could not afford such a nice watch. Well I chose to spend what little money I had else where put it that way. But for someone to say we would not hunt in a Rolex. That is just crazy to me. I have a 2 year old boy trust me I do harder things than hunt in my SubC. Lol! Now would I take my Day Date of course not but my SubC I will do anything in it.
