From what I saw in the video, I don't even think he was given a chance to give up his watch. The cowards probably stabbed him immediately in order to incapacitate him. Danny looked like a big guy who would defend himself, so wounding him would make the robbery easier.

I hope to God they catch the murderers.

Yup ............ Certain Nike shoes will get you killed very quickly in many cities here in the states. Ditto the wrong hoodie. Certain gangs have adopted the logo's of certain NFL teams. Wearing the wrong one on their turf can be deadly.

Terrible story. Nobody deserves that. Makes you wonder about wearing full gold models.

To each their own. I’d rather die fighting than have a hope that they leave me alone after I give them everything and comply. Violence is a universal language, everyone understands violence.

As much as I love my TT serti sub and crave a solid YG Rolex, i usually just wear my SS GMT. It is very under the radar and does not get atention like my serti sub does.when I fid not have the SS model, I wore my sub but was always a litle eorried that someone might attack for it. Then again, us Floridians can pack heat but as other said, you cant always ptotect yourself in all situations.

Say that when you have 3 kids and your wife that depend on you. Pride.

So sad that so many do not value human life.

Hard to believe that they could recognize the watch in the dark while driving a scooter.

I was talking about watch insurance, but, from the sound of things, it sounds like life insurance would be a good idea, too.

That’s what insurance is for. Let them have it and get the hell home safe.....not worth injury or death.

There's a youtube channel called Active self defense that shows many areas more likely for this type of crime. Seems like concentrated population centers with lots of poor are the likely. I'm not from the UK but a guy from outside of Dublin I worked with told me that during a get together at his home an armed thief entered the house and took his Audi keys from the hook on the wall. He felt this was because criminals know that most likely those inside wouldn't have any means to defend themselves.

More than one set of infraction points given out for violent gun posts (now removed) in this thread. You guys should know the rules. If you don't, then read them.

RIP to the deceased. Thread closed.
