Aftermarket Stone Dials

Does anyone have any experience with sourcing/purchasing an aftermarket stone dial? This would be for a Day-Date, and most likely Oynx.

Any tips/suggestions as to where to source?

Any other thoughts about what to look for, what to be careful about?

Thanks.

After market parts...

In my opinion only cheapen the value of the watch. Get the real thing or nothing.

Guys, the value of the watch wouldn't change. I still have the original dial and complete set. We are talking about a reversible cosmetic change.

The price differential is just large to justify to go OEM. Of course if that was viable I'd prefer that too just as you both do.

Try Time Delay in Dallas. They have many aftermarket dials available. Here is a link:

Your watch and if you want to do it, go for it. Before I would do it I would try to source a OEM dial in the secondary market.

Hey Jay, can I see your watch as it currently stands, I have a 5513 that has service replacement hands and dial, it would have been nice to have the originals but its 50 year old watch so I accepted that this is part of its history, Keeping the originals is a good call... be sure not to misplace them.
