Watch repaair
I have a Rolex Explorer Everest manufactured in 1959. I brought it to Rolex Service in TO and they told me my watch was vintage and to old to refurbish to original condition? Should I go to a watchmaker? Any suggestions

Give Fred White a call. He specializes in vintage Rolex. Former AWCI president and been in the business for a long time. He took my wife's '46 and built a new plate and got it back running again. Fantastic Old school guy thats easy to deal with. 301-868-7264. He is in MD. Quick turn around and reasonable pricing.

Bob Ridley is a name I've heard on the forum, specializing in vintage.

I've heard both these names above, and can add the name Rik Dietel at TimeCareInc (timecareinc.com). Wonderful guy and fantastic watchmaker.
