Many people bought before the madness, have great AD contacts, or just pay over list and buy from the grey market. I have a Pepsi GMT, James Cameron Deepsea and BLNR so I’m not hunting just now anyway. |

The SkyD is too similiar (in appearance) to my DJ2. Nor could I afford to purchase that without the sale of my DJ2. DJ2 has been discontinued now. I believe it was never truly well received, which is a shame as it is a gorgeous timepiece! - What would you do? Retain the DJ2 - Surely if it has been discontinued, it will only increase in price? - Therefore keep it and obtain a BLNR(not sure how long the wait is as my AD is on holiday). or Part ex the DJ2 and obtain the SkyD (In white, Blue would be preference, but happy with white as easier to obtain) Thanks for the comments all - Appreciated - You're all fab! |

If the BLNR comes in first (most likely), see if you like it. If not you could always sell it for maybe a slight premium. If you do, keep it until the Sky D comes in and make the decision then on whether to pass on it, or trade the DJ and the BLNR for the Sky D. You’ll not lose money on either deal so it’s a no brainier.

Am I better off saying to my AD that I will put a deposit down there and then? Does that make them take me more seriously? He’s on holiday at the moment, and I don’t want to deal with anyone else. My feelings are that it would dilute my relationship with the AD. Coming round to the idea of owning two watches (116334 and BLNR as opposed to one, SkyD) |
